We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Carolena back for the second T4T course in Devon, UK which only goes to prove how much we loved it first time around
FCBD® style has grown into a global phenomenon with an impressive expansion of the number of certified FCBD® style teachers. The Technique for Teachers Certification Course is an opportunity to ensure that we are all sharing the same high-quality instruction at our Certified Studio locations.
The 20 hour intensive course is truly unique for several reasons:
-
it is limited to only 20 participants
-
it focuses on your own personal dance technique
-
it ensures we are all teaching the same thing and to the highest standard in our studios across the world
The course is open to all graduates of FCBD® style Teacher Training. You do not need to be a Certified Studio
The course will be taught by Carolena Nericcio, the creator of FCBD® style and director of FatChanceBellyDance®, assisted by Deanna Freeman and Kelley Beeston, both are graduates of Advanced Teacher Training and are FatChanceBellyDance® Continuing Education (FCCE) instructors.
In this course we will assess each teacher’s technique, provide feedback and offer corrections to ensure that all our students worldwide are receiving consistent instruction.
Each day will consist of a detailed breakdown of two core moves from the FCBD® vocabulary followed by chorus drills.
Each participant will have an opportunity to lead a two-song drill and receive feedback on their movement technique.
We’ll have plenty of time for questions and answers plus bonus drills
This is a 20 hour, 4 day course
The course will be held at The Riverside Hall, Bridge Terrace, Bampton, Tiverton EX16 9LT and the cost of the Technique for Teachers 4 day intensive is £855 (British Pounds Sterling)

About Bampton
Bampton, a historic Charter Town, lies in mid Devon on the edge of the Exmoor National Park close to the Somerset border. The whole town centre is a conservation area and has almost 100 listed structures including two red telephone boxes. It has early Saxon origins, a well preserved Motte from Norman times and an ancient charter fair dating back to 1258 (which Kelley ran for 10 years). It was once a thriving wool town with the wool merchants building Bampton's Georgian houses of locally quarried stone.

Things to do in and around Bampton
Haha - so remember you are in rural Devon and unless you have a car to go and explore the area there is not much going on. However, I will provide you with a copy of the "Family Trail" - a walking tour of Bampton aimed at parents with kids - yes you can go exploring, how exciting is that?
